In 2017 “JWJ HITON Journey With Jesus – Help In Time Of Need” visited the people of Kihiihi sub-county district in Western Uganda in the Village of Kunungu. On arrival the team led by the Director, (Joy Douglas) met with the Sub-county Leaders to discuss the many issues resulting from the severe drought conditions affecting the peoples’ welfare and to the solutions going forward. The team offered comforting words as well as gave monetary help to purchase food and a promise to return.
Many households were in terrible situations and with immediate affect the organisation offered prayer for the help of God in these challenging conditions.

I would like to tell you people about HITON. I came in 2019 but for sure what I have seen in this Company is you can’t believe it. This company gives you Peace. Have got so many things I have travelled to many offices around Kampala and have known what I did not know. The Director of this Company is not like other Directors – this one is different. This Company is helping different people in different places It’s now providing books for young people. So this Company is with you people let us come together, work together, we can make it.
I am getting money on time. I am paying school fees for my kids because of HITON. People have started knowing me because of HITON. I am so filled with HAPPY when am in this Company. My boss is still thinking to you people who are out there, this Company is going to expand so my boss is going to need more workers anytime.

August 2018 saw the return of JWJ HITON to the village to further complete their promise of help. This visit involved a trip to Kororo Primary School (near boarders of Queen Elizabeth National Park). There were many needs to address at the School including Lack of Water, food, sanitary facilities for females. JWJ HITON again prayed with School, as well as provided bottled water and sanitary and personal items for the females in the school.
September 2018
The Organisation proposed provisions with chicken rearing in the community was now also underway for households to benefit. A number of households had constructed chick houses, in readiness to boost their income levels through selling eggs, manure for their crops and chicken for their diet improvement. The following month September 2018, I (Mbabazi Elias), together with a colleague visited the selected households, as part of my role with JWJ HITON and delivered food stuffs which the Organisation had purchased and sent for these households. The food included: Meat, Bread Matooke (Green Bananas), Cassava, Sugar Cane and Sugar. The Organisation also endeavours to help with crops for planting – which will come as an immense relief for these people.
